Holiday Cool Tones

Hey gals! I didn't think I would be able to get in another look up on the blog for a while but a day away from being 40 weeks pregnant, I am still here bringing you another look that would be great for the last holiday of the year!! I cannot believe another year has flown by this quick, but here we are just days away from ringing in a new year! I hope you all had a wonderful and joyous Christmas!! For this time of the year I love to play around with cool tones, I think they're perfect for the festivities. Gray and blue are two colors I love to pair, I just think they go great together and keep the look looking elegant without having to go our usual go to colors black or white, you get to mix it up a bit. High waisted skirts are a go to for me right now and since the days are much cooler in temperature now I decided to pair this gray high waisted with a navy colored turtleneck; I figured it would keep the entire look classy, elegant, and chic! And of course to complete the outfit, a go to staple for the winter, ankle booties! I hope you gals enjoyed this holiday look and it served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe!! Til the next look!!

Little Chambray Dress

Hey gals! I am back with another quick look and let me beginning by saying that this look at first felt a little out of my comfort zone and I think I now know the reason why and it's because I am not very used to wearing knee high boots with dresses and whenever I do they are usually with heel or I just simply stick to booties, but I decided to have fun with this look and just go with it. So to go with the boots I wore this chambray dress and a huge plus to this is that Chambray is something that you can work with all year long, you can always dress it up according to season. And to add some simple pop of color I incorporated this plaid scarf to not just add color but also to add some layering to the look. I hope you find some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe!! Til the next look!!

Edgy Fall

Hey gals! If you stay updated with my videos on my youtube channel then you already saw this look as part of my Fall LookBook! Again I cannot say it enough how much I love dressing for the Fall time, like everything about the Fall season made me realize that it is my favorite season of the year!! I took advantage of a day that was chilly but not too cold to be able to put this look together. I think this look was so easily amped up by just adding this felt hat from Forever 21, I think it gave this look exactly what I was looking for. I added edgier vibes to my look by adding on the felt hat and these black peep hole booties. I hope this look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe. Til the next look!!

Camel + Chunky Knit

Hey gals! In this post I'm bringing a Fall look that's a little more dressed up and it includes one of my favorite Fall colors, Camel. Not only is it one of my favorite Fall colors but its on one of my go to staple pieces in my wardrobe which are pencil skirts. These skirts are so versatile because you can pretty much wear them with anything and everything. So since it was a little windy this day I decided to finally embrace the cooler weather and bring out a sweater to pair with the skirt. I didn't want to keep the look too neutral so I opted for a color that would give this entire look a pop that way both my sweater and skirt would stand out. I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Fall Plaid

Hey gals!! I'm back with a new look that is all about Fall weather! You guys already know my obsession with plaid, so a look like this is totally right up my alley. To me any plaid pattern that is red colored just screams out cold weather to me, my favorite go to for this time of the year. I've been opting for plaid tops that have the buttons half way down, right up to the mid section because they don't tend to be as snugged as those that have the buttons all the way, but only because these plaid tops fit my bump a lot better. I paired my look with these Target boots that are just PERFECT for this time of the year as well, I fell in love with the wool detailing that they have on the top, very lumberjack like and let me add how amazingly comfortable they are. I wanted to add a little more to the entire look so I just threw on a chunky scarf to add some layering. I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration to your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

3 ways to wear a jumpsuit

Hey gals! For this new blog post I am bringing you something slightly different, instead of just doing one particular look, I'm adding three different ways to flaunt a jumpsuit with a simple look, a daytime look and a night time look. During the Fall and Winter seasons it is fairly easy to give your outfit a complete different look and/or uplift by simply layering. So the easiest and simplest way to wear this jumpsuit is to just wear it alone, that was how my inspiration for this look first started when I saw Kim Kardashian wearing a jumpsuit like this on its own and rocking the bump.

Jumpsuit: @M_CarolineBoutique (Instagram)
You can layer this jumpsuit with a kimono to make it more of a daytime look. I decided to add this sleeveless kimono as a layer because of its colors, the blue and the golden brown add the perfect pop of color and perfectly compliment the black colored jumpsuit because all colors stand out evenly, completely synchronized.

Kimono: Target

 Booties: Forever 21

For the last look, I added the faux leather jacket in order to turn this outfit into a night time look. Since the booties are already more on the edgier look, I thought it would great to add this jacket in order to add to that edgy/rocker chick type of look.

Faux Leather Jacket: H&M

I hope this new post served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe. Til the next look!!

Warm Fall

Hey gals! I'm back with a new Fall look and even though it was like 88 degrees here in LA on the last day of October, I was completely inspired by Fall and by one of its many colors, red orange. I definitely did not want to think about dressing up for Halloween this year, it is already challenging enough to dress on a regular, to stress about finding a suitable costume for me and my baby bump. Instead I decided to opt for this red orange dress that screams out Fall because of its color. Aside from its color, I also gravitated towards this dress because of the detailing it has in the back, it definitely amped up the dress giving it that extra oomph I always look for. It was a great choice to go for during a warm Fall day. I wanted to make this look more Fall'ish by adding some booties and a felt hat; you can never go wrong with those two even combined together. I hope this look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Fall Fuchsia

Hey gals!! I'm back with a new look wearing one of my favorite staple pieces for the fall time, a midi skirt! And with that let me say how obsessed I currently am with this particular skirt. I recently go this skirt from M_CarolineBoutique, when I saw her first posting of this skirt on Instagram, no lie it was love at first sight! Everything about this skirts just seemed perfect, from the length to the color, I just knew it had to be mine. Then once I actually wore it, the obsession became real!! I love how high wasted this skirt is because it fit perfectly over my bump and it still went all the way below my knees. I have to admit I was feeling very Kim Kardashian while wearing this skirt since she wears these types of skirts a lot during her current pregnancy and now I know why. This look has been one of my favorite out of all of my pregnancy looks, it made me feel very trendy and stylish all while complementing my baby bump. Hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe. Til the next look!!

Midi x Denim

Hey gals!! I'm back with a new look that is great for a warm Fall day. We already know that midi dresses are super trendy this season, so they are a great staple to have in your wardrobe along with midi skirts especially because of their versatility. I lightly played around with layers with this look by simply wearing this chambray top as a jacket. That is a great trick to do to add layers to your look, just wear a button down top as a jacket and viola, you make a different touch to your entire look! Midi dresses have been a must for me lately because not only do they compliment my growing tummy but they also keep me on trend. Since it was going to be a day where I was going to be out and about spending a lot of time on my feet, I kept the look pretty casual by just pairing it with these ankle lace up sandals. I hope this new look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe!
