Chambray + Pleats

Hey gals!! Okay I'm right back with a new Spring look and let me start off by saying how perfectly classy and chic I felt with this look. In my opinion midi skirts are automatically both classy and chic, they just give your look a whole different feel, it's a must have staple in your wardrobe, not only are they stylish year round but they're great for any given occasion/event. But for me, being the huge Sex and the City fan that I am, (hence why my blog names makes reference to the show) any midi skirt makes me channel my inner Carrie Bradshaw!! I decided to play around with the skirt a bit by pairing it with a chambray blouse and went for a lighter denim color in order to have a contrast of both cool and a bit of warmer tones, they both in my opinion went perfectly in sync. I love Spring and Summer because you get to play around with a lot more of variety of colors from pastels to vibrant to cool or to warm. So I hope this look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Stripes + Jeans

Hey gals! I'm back with a new look and as much as I've been enjoying putting together different Spring/Summer looks, this look was a casual look that I went for on a rainy day. Yes it actually did rain here in LA after the beautiful warm weather that had been happening. But the rain wasn't enough to stop me from being out and about. OH! and I'm almost forgetting to mention the obvious, I changed my hair color!! I decided to give myself a new look in order to be able to maintain better healthy hair, which also included cutting my hair pretty short (that made me kinda sad) so yes I am still getting used to the new color. Now moving on to the important stuff, the outfit! ha! As I might have mentioned in a previous blog, I love patterns, so it's no surprise that stripes especially black and white are definitely a fave! This stripped comfortable fitted, boyfriend tee is from Old Navy and one of the things I love most about this tee aside from the colors and pattern, is that the sleeves are somewhat fitted to your arm like they don't have that flare look like most tees, it's more like a little tube around your arm. It may not sound like too big of a deal but in my opinion a sleeve like that on a tee sort of makes it appear like more feminine, I don't know if I'm making any sense but I hope you gals get what I'm trying to describe here. And I actually took this look to go out on a dinner date with my fiancĂ©, something casual but definitely keeping all around chic, you can't ever go wrong with something like it. So I hope this look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Sunday Kicks

Hey gals! I'm back with a casual Sunday look for you all. Let me start off by telling you gals that I had been eyeing these New Balance kicks for quite a while now. I didn't get them immediately because one I'm not a big sneakers kind of gal and two because I could't decide which ones to get. So after looking at them continuously and doing constant window shopping every time I came across them, I finally laid eyes on the pair that stole my heart and now here I am bringing you gals a casual look with my newest additions. I was thinking of going with a tee to keep the look pretty sporty but I decided to instead go with more of a Spring colored top that would keep my look girly but sporty at the same time if that makes any sense. Of course the ripped jeans added more to that rugged look but still turned out to be what I was aiming for. So I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Little Blue Dress

Hey gals! I'm back with a new look for you all. Now just like every gal likes to have a little black dress hanging in their closet, well here I am bringing you this little blue dress from H&M. What really got me from this dress was the back, I love how its like a semi deep V and has a peep hole which gives this dress a different outlook from your usual skater dress.   With the design on the back, the dress becomes more fun and flirty. Like I always say, I love pieces that I'm able to dress up and that I'm able to dress down which is the case with this dress. Oh! and I have to also add that I've really been into bright loud colors and although this dress does have some gray to it, the blue of this dress is just perfection for this Spring and Summer! I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for you wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Coachella Inspired

Hey gals!! I was so excited to put this look together, Coachella inspired! I was obviously not a part of the coachella festivities but I took a little of the hipster vibes to put a look together for my Sunday funday. I have been embracing every sunny day here in LA, I have this thing where I'm always saying that sunny days are happy days, they just have a way to uplift my mood. I decided to add some white to my hipster look because in my opinion white clothing pieces are great staples to have as a part of your wardrobe during the spring and summer time and just like black, you can never go wrong with white! I recently purchased this white boho type top from Forever 21, I chose to leave the strings untied simply because I feel it makes it more boho like. Okay and I could not put together a coachella inspired look without the hipster shades! ha! I had so much fun going outside the  box with this look, mainly with the sunnies, but I do love mixing it up and definitely trying out new things! I hope this spring look, coachella inspired serves as some boho inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Spring Edge

Hey gals! I am back with a super quick look, I was actually debating weather I should look this look up or not because I went for this look on a day where I was only running errands and since it was going to be a simple day, I wanted to dress outside the box and give my look an edge. Normally I'm all about patterns or brighter colors but something in me that day wanted it to be bold and edgy so I kept it all black from head to toe but I added a little something by wearing a chambray tied to my waist, I felt this uplifted the outfit from keeping it too plain and simple. Of course no matter what mood I'm in to dress, I always have to incorporate some chicness to the mix and that's what this big'o handbag from Target does. So when you're in the mood to think outside the box, out of your comfort zone  I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for you wardrobe! Til the next look!

Florals + Fedora

Hey gals! I'm back wearing my favorite Spring pattern, FLORALS! I've really been into tshirt looking dresses for these warm weather days ahead simply because I can choose to dress them up or keep them casual but still chic. Yes I love all things chic! So of course this dress from Old Navy was no exception. I loved the color combo because it gives me the chance to either combine the dress with nudes or go with black like I did for this look. I wanted to give my look just a bit more of an edge so I decided to incorporate a fedora hat into the look. I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!! Boho Prints!

Hey gals! I am back with another outfit inspiration for this new warm weather! Boho is totally going to be in for this Spring and Summer time and who's arguing with that? I'm not! I'm absolutely loving the boho vibes so I decided to make this boho patterned top the center of my entire look. The colors on the boho pattern are just the perfect pastels and not to mention the lace detail on each side of the sleeves, that combo just made this top a must have for me! I wanted to keep the look really simple and casual yet very vibrant in color which is why I decided to accessorize with a orange purse that would add the perfect pop to my entire outfit. When going boho, you can choose to either dress up the boho look or dress it down, it is a very versatile style! I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!
