Birthday Florals

Hey gals!! I was particularly happy about this specific look because this was an outfit I put together especially for my birthday. Being that my birthday is in January, a Winter month, there are times that here in LA we get to get away with warm weather even in the Winter time but it always seemed as though it always got cold during my birthday week, BUT this year I got lucky and my week was the warmest, including my actual special day. So with all of that being said, I move on to my look and say that it was definitely Spring time inspired!

I love floral patterns, in my opinion they're perfect for those warm days!

Plaid and Black

Hey gals!! I am back with a new look to share with you all! Not sure if I have already mentioned how obsessed I currently am with plaid, but let me just say the obsession is real! So I was totally feeling this look especially the colors on this plaid shirt. Of course it may not come to anyones surprise that this shirt would be from Target! It may be safe to say that Target is somewhat like a second home to me, it sort of like my happiest place on Earth, hey what can I say?! I really like that the colors on this plaid are so winter, I had it hanging in my closet before Fall even strolled by and for some reason I wouldn't come around to styling it, til this day which is now Winter and was the perfect timing and day for it!!

I decided to pair the plaid shirt with black skinnies in order to make the colors on the shirt pop out even more and then kept it really simple with my shoes wearing those vintage rose colored heels that also stood out from the entire look because its a different transition of color from the jeans and the shirt yet it compliments both oh so well!

Splash of Pink

Hey gals!! I am back with a new look for you all!! And let me begin by saying that this look is a Valentine's Day inspired outfit!! I will be posting a few Vday looks, including this one, that hopefully serve as some inspiration for your plans on that day! So this look here is more of a semi casual look, that of course can be worn for a day or even for a dinner date! It was inspired for a Vday outfit because of the pop of pink that I incorporated on to the outfit. So I decided to make this pink blazer the center of my look, because if it would be worn for a Vday date, this color would be perfect, I mean pink is one of thee "it" colors to go to for Valentine's. So this Pink blazer is from Victoria's Boutique (you can find their page on instagram under VictoriasBoutique2012) and I did purchase this blazer last winter from them but I am still obsessing over it because not only does it fit gorgeously but the color is just PERFECTION!!
Once I added the blazer to add a little sass to the look, I wanted to keep the rest of the look fairly simple. So I went ahead and wore this white top from Target under the blazer which I feel helped the pink stand out even more as a centerpiece of the entire look. And then went with these light denim colored distressed jeans from Pacsun. I felt that a pair of distressed jeans would make the outfit a little more fun and flirty!

I kept the accessories at a minimal, and just wore this geometric shaped gold statement necklace from Forever 21 which in my opinion, felt that it complimented all of the colors in my outfit very well.
And as for shoes, I went for these double ankle strap heels that are all white except for the nude colored band around the toes, these are from Charlotte Russe. These strappy heels are a bit different from your regular strappy heels because I feel that they go a lot more with either formal or casual looks because of the thicker heel, so they are a versatile pair to have!
So there you have it gals, hope this look served as some inspiration for you Vday plans or for any other day!! Til the next look!

Wild at Heart

Hey gals!! I'm back bringing you a new winter styled outfit featuring a splash of Target Style! For this look I am wearing Target's "Wild at Heart" charcoal colored sweater. And let me say that what got me with this sweater aside from the gorgeous color, was the printing on the sweater because to me it represented having those wild dreams in your heart that you want to make dreams come true, that passion that burns inside of you, which for me happens to be fashion! I wanted to use this sweater to go for a look that was oh so chic, so  I decided to use it as a layer and underneath the sweater I wore a blue J.Crew button down  shirt, which turned out to be the perfect oomph for chic. The rest of the look I kept it really simple, wearing dark denim bullhead skinny jeans from Pacsun and finishing the look with black pumps from Zara. I am totally obsessing over these heels in particular because the pointed toe part of the shoe are like that regular faux leather like material while the rest of the heel is black suede, perfect combo and oh so comfortable! If you ever wanna go for a chic like look, just add your favorite pointed toe pumps to your outfit and you're set!! Hope this winter chic look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!

Leopard Winter with Kmart Fashion

Hey gals! I am back with a new look wearing some of Kmart's Fashion! I am quite the sucker for anything leopard, so it was obvious that I would fall in love with this sweater the second I laid eyes on it, and incredible find I got at Kmart. The day was perfect for this leopard sweater a nice cool breeze with the rays of sunshine and this sweater in particular is thick enough to keep you warm and comfortable at the same time, perfect for this winter time! I paired the sweater with these light distressed jeans from Pacsun, high wasted bullhead skinniest (my favorite). And to complete the look I finished off the outfit with these black suede booties with gold belt buckle detailing on the sides from Target. So there you have it gals, another new look to keep the ball rolling for the beginning of this new year, I hope this new look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe and til the next look!! New Year's Eve Look

Hey gals! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2015 is officially here and if you've been keeping up with my blog and actually take the time to check it out, Thank You!! Because it truly means the world to me to know that other fashionistas out there are taking interest in my blog and are hopefully getting inspired through my style and/or get different ideas in styling different clothing pieces! So thank you for keeping me inspired in doing what I do! And here is my new years's eve look, yes this is what I wore to ring in the new year! Just recently I was able to get away with wearing lighter clothing here in LA, but winter is now upon us and the weather has dropped so now it is safe to say that it is cold in LA so I had to stay bundled up for the holiday especially when I'm still trying to get over a cold. So here I decided to play around a little bit with my blanket scarf in order to give this look a lot more of an oomph. For the bottom layer, I am wearing this thick, green knitted turtle neck sweater from H&M and oh my goodness can I just say how comfortable this sweater is, it is extremely cozy and does a great job at keeping you warm! At first I thought the turtle neck might be a little bothersome since I'm not too used to wearing them too often, but let me tell you that it did not bother me at all, it did not make me itchy or uncomfortable at any time, this sweater is perfection in every way possible! Back to the blanket scarf, I decided to wear it as a top layering piece to sort of give a feel of a vest but a very warm one and I kept it in place with a very thin taupe belt, which I think that by styling the scarf this way, it sort of made this look a little more on the sophisticated side which is always a plus to me to rock a classy look. This blanket scarf is from Target, and you wouldn't believe how long I was hunting for a blanket scarf exactly like this one, colors and all! To complete the rest of the look I am wearing these dark denim Bullhead skinniest pants from Pacsun and some nude pumps from LolaShoetique that added more to the classy feel. So here is my first look for the new year, hope it served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!
