Cali Life

Hey gals!! I'm back with this new outfit post, taking a walk in the city of Hollywood in CityWalk embracing the city girl in me! I wanted to go with a casual comfortable outfit but yet uplifted with a little bit of oomph! I'm all about that oomph when it comes to fashion or makeup!! So let's start off with the center piece of this outfit which is my "Cali Life" tank from COTTONON. The tank has an image of a beach pier during sunset which is one of the perfect depictions of Cali life, the beaches! Since I wanted to keep my look casual, I paired my tank with these dark denim jeans from Pacsun and topped it with my nude lace up heels from LolaShoetique! Chic and casual, always a go to combo!! To accessorize with this outfit, I went with my pink mirrored sunnies from my Wantable subscription, the light pink color of the glasses matched the image on my top perfectly! and I also incorporated this flower hairband that I also found to give my outfit a little extra something than ordinary, my hairband is also from COTTONON and then just a simple pink bangle to complement my tank and sunnies from H&M! There you having my fashionistas, a simple casual outfit for a day out in the city with a little touch of extra something! Til the next outfit!

The Little Black Dress

Hey gals!! I think it was about time I incorporated a little black dress outfit post on the blog!! I recently purchased this little black dress at Target and let me tell you how excited I was when I came across this dress!! I love versatile pieces where you can either dress them up or dress them down and this dress is just that. I decided that my first time wearing it I would dress it up a little by wearing these Steve Madden ankle strap heels, which could be quite tiring since they don't have much support, so make sure to wear these type of heels when you won't be doing TOO much walking! Trust me on this one! I tried taking these babies out on a day of shopping and boy was I glad I took flats as a back up plan! An hour into shopping and I was already crying for help, so these heels would be better for going out for a nice dinner since you'll be sitting for the majority of the time. So back to the outfit, to accessorize my dress I decided to add a belt in order to shape my body better, because the dress alone is a bit too rectangular loose if that makes any sense! (yes I'm the worst at making descriptions, sorry!) So my belt is from Target as well and I also added this bright neon yellow necklace from Forever 21 and also from F21 my black rounded sunnies! So if you're having a dinner date soon, or an even where you feel like dressing up a bit, I hope this post serves as some sort of inspiration for you!! Til the next outfit!

A Vest Uplift

Hey Gals!! I'm finally back with a new outfit post that got me thinking when putting it together; what do you do when you want to add a bit of glam to your look? You throw on this gorgeous white vest from Target!! The way it looks, the way it just adds the perfect oomph to a simple, casual outfit! IT IS PERFECTION!!! and the most important part is that this vest is extremely versatile, you can incorporate it to a casual outfit for a day in the park like myself or you can dress it up for a nice dinner, you make it your own in any way and that is a HUGE plus with a clothing piece! To keep my outfit like a total fashionista i paired the vest with these heels that look a bit more casual because of the wide heel, and the detailing on the heel is also gorgeous, i came across these babies at CallitSpring. And for the casual part of my outfit I wore these almost light denim high wasted shorts with a simple sleeveless white tank both from Rhapsodielle. Threw my hair up in a bun, put on my favorite red lipstick (ruby woo) and wore these black sunnies and I was good to gooo!! Hope this outfit served as great inspirational for all you fashion lovers!! Til next time!

Country City

Hey gals! The west meets the city!! I decided to add a little country to this outfit, thinking outside the box. I wanted something a little different when putting my outfit together around this dress and I thought cowboy boots would be the perfect accent to this tribal print dress. I've been wanting to find the perfect outfit where i'd be able to wear my boots especially since the weather here in L.A. has been warm. So since I was wearing a tribal print with my dress (from Forever 21) I paired it with my black cowboy boots from Target, which let me add how wonderfully comfortable they are. To accessorize I kept it really simple and just added this long coined tasseled gold colored necklace also from Forever 21. So if you're feeling creative and want to think outside the box, I hope this new outfit post was a bit of inspiration!

Casual Friday

Hey gals!! I'm back at it again with a new outfit post that like always I hope you all enjoy! For this look I wanted to keep it casual but still with a dash of sass. So I decided to work with this off the shoulder floral dress from Target, which in my opinion screams out hot weather in L.A. I thought this dress was casual but flirty at the same time showing some skin at the shoulders. In order to keep it casual but not too simple, I went with these black sandal wedges from Charlotte Russe and let me add just how comfortable these wedges are, they just don't get you tired! I went a little extra in accessorizing by adding this Fedora to my outfit and a long coin tassel necklace from Forever 21, very simple but still adds the perfect amount of oomph to your outfit! Hope I was able to inspire some of you fashionistas out there with this casual look I put together!

Navy Crochet

Hey gals!! I am here with another outfit that I hope you all will enjoy!! I was going to be doing tons of shopping this day and like I always I wanted to be looking like a total fashionista but still be comfortable at the same time which takes me to my first piece of my ensemble, my shoes. Since I wanted comfort I went for these nude sandal wedges from LolaShoetique which kept me comfortable and going throughout my entire day of continuous walking! So to put an outfit that would fit perfect with my wedges I went with these navy blue crochet shorts, that are super comfortable, simple, but still chic. As soon as I layed eyes on these shorts I knew they had to be mine because they are different than the usual crochet shorts, as you can see these shorts only have the lace crochet detail in the front of the shorts and the back of the shorts is just a solid navy blue color, these shorts can be found in Mika's Fashion, you can find their page on Instagram @mikas_fashion. For my top I decided to go with this super stylish white off the shoulder top from victorias-boutique.net (IG: victoriasboutique2012) and what I love so much about this top aside from the color because yes I do love white, is that it is such a versatile top that you can dress in so many way, definitely a great top to have hanging in your closet, if you ask me! And lately I have been obsessing over this bright colored necklace I received in my May's Wantable subscription box. These colors on this necklace are just gorgeus, bright colors which you should know I'm all about those scandalous bright colors and the pearls give it the perfect touch of femininity! So there you have it fashionistas, if you're going to be spending your day doing some shopping or just a day where you simply can't decide on what to wear, I hope this outfit helps to be some sort of inspiration!!

Nautical Tuesday

Feeling Nautical? I think so! Hey gals, I'm bringing a little sea inspiration for this outfit, I was feeling creative and wa-la this is the outcome! Of course I wanted to keep my look chic but very casual at the same time, so let's work our way from the bottom up this time shall we? Since I wanted to keep my outfit comfortable and casual, I said why not wear my chucks, now you gals must know I am not much of a sneaker  girl but I wanted to get creative out of my comfort zone. So this time I based my outfit based on the shoes I wanted to wear, I decided to pair my converse with this super comfortable bodycon red skirt from FOREVER 21, which of course was the piece of my outfit that kept it chic. In order to turn this look to the nautical side, I knew stripes would be the way to go, especially with the blue colored stripes which is why I completed my look with this blue and white stripped tank from HollisterCo. I kept it really simple with accessories by simply wearing my rounded sunnies also from FOREVER 21. This outfit could also be great to wear on the Fourth of July because of the color combination, but I decided that I was going to twist it into being a nautical outfit, which I hope all you gals enjoyed and maybe found a little inspiration for a nautical look to create!
