Blue Florals

Hey gals! I am back with a Summer ready look that's completely feminine and oh so chic! This is the look I decided to go for this weekend to the Generation Beauty event by Ipsy (minus the heels cause I would've been beat by the end of the day, more than what I already was.) Florals are still big in trend and they will continue to be all through Summer and guess who's loving that...ME! The blue pastel color on the flowers is what gives the dress the perfect add of pop, not to mention the colors in this dress are perfect to wear all year long! Hope you gals enjoy this quick Summer ready look and hopefully it serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Casual in Florals

Hey gals! I'm back with a really quick new look for you all, the look is really simple and casual I was debating whether to put it as a new look or not and I just figured hey, why not! Let me start off by sharing with you gals how long I had been eyeing this top from Kohls from the Lauren Conrad line. I had been debating whether to order it online or not and I just couldn't make up my mind. Until I went to pay Kohls a visit and seeing the top right there in front of my eyes I just couldn't resist and I brought it home with me. I don't know if I've mentioned this before or not but I have been obsessing over florals this Spring time and I'm sure all Summer long as well. So its obvious that I would center my entire outfit around my Lauren Conrad floral top. I hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe. Til the next look!!

Bright + Basics

Hey gals! I am finally back with a new look, I went MIA for a minute and I couldn't wait to be back, it felt like forever!! So let me start by saying that I centered this entire look around these high-water chino type pants from Old Navy. I am not a huge fan of pocketless pants, but these fit like a glove and they are just perfect for Spring and Summer. Not to mention that you can wear them with any color because they match with absolutely everything and anything, I just love them! I sort of dressed them up with the top I decided to pair it with but yet kept it casual with these strappy jeweled sandals. Hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Happy Stripes!

Hey gals!! I am back with a new look that I was extremely excited to do because I just became obsessed with this little stripped dress from Old Navy!! When I got this dress I thought it was going to have more flare to it but when I actually put it on I fell in love with the way it was more form fitting and how classy the dress looked once it was already on! I love dresses that are fun and flirty, yet stay classy. It literally makes me want to go back to Old Navy to get my hands on more, it is and it fits gorgeously! It accentuates one's body perfectly! Oh and I haven't even mention that it is thick material so you don't have to worry about it having white and being see through. This dress is Spring perfect! Not to mention you can definitely dress it up or down, versatility is key! Hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Hot Pink For Days

Hey gals!! I am back with a new look, it's a pretty casual look that I quickly put together for an easy going Saturday afternoon. I liked adding a pop of color to neutral basic colors, adding some pop to your look is perfect during Spring and Summer, feels as if you make your whole look feel more alive and it just complements the beautiful sunny weather with its brightness. I'm just a gal who loves sunny days and I love embracing those days through my style. I recently picked up this pair of heels at Zara and I thought they'd be a perfect combo to the look since they would contrast with the hot pink of the blazer. Hope this look serves as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Chambray + Pleats

Hey gals!! Okay I'm right back with a new Spring look and let me start off by saying how perfectly classy and chic I felt with this look. In my opinion midi skirts are automatically both classy and chic, they just give your look a whole different feel, it's a must have staple in your wardrobe, not only are they stylish year round but they're great for any given occasion/event. But for me, being the huge Sex and the City fan that I am, (hence why my blog names makes reference to the show) any midi skirt makes me channel my inner Carrie Bradshaw!! I decided to play around with the skirt a bit by pairing it with a chambray blouse and went for a lighter denim color in order to have a contrast of both cool and a bit of warmer tones, they both in my opinion went perfectly in sync. I love Spring and Summer because you get to play around with a lot more of variety of colors from pastels to vibrant to cool or to warm. So I hope this look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!

Stripes + Jeans

Hey gals! I'm back with a new look and as much as I've been enjoying putting together different Spring/Summer looks, this look was a casual look that I went for on a rainy day. Yes it actually did rain here in LA after the beautiful warm weather that had been happening. But the rain wasn't enough to stop me from being out and about. OH! and I'm almost forgetting to mention the obvious, I changed my hair color!! I decided to give myself a new look in order to be able to maintain better healthy hair, which also included cutting my hair pretty short (that made me kinda sad) so yes I am still getting used to the new color. Now moving on to the important stuff, the outfit! ha! As I might have mentioned in a previous blog, I love patterns, so it's no surprise that stripes especially black and white are definitely a fave! This stripped comfortable fitted, boyfriend tee is from Old Navy and one of the things I love most about this tee aside from the colors and pattern, is that the sleeves are somewhat fitted to your arm like they don't have that flare look like most tees, it's more like a little tube around your arm. It may not sound like too big of a deal but in my opinion a sleeve like that on a tee sort of makes it appear like more feminine, I don't know if I'm making any sense but I hope you gals get what I'm trying to describe here. And I actually took this look to go out on a dinner date with my fiancĂ©, something casual but definitely keeping all around chic, you can't ever go wrong with something like it. So I hope this look served as some sort of inspiration for your wardrobe! Til the next look!!
